Italy! Mamma mia! Pizza Pasta Mafia Mandolino!

And Yes! I’m in Italy right now! Man, it’s been a while since my last post!
Actually, I felt pretty sorry for my blog, cause I ignored it since I got back from Canada, now it’s time for a little update.

Aaawww yeaah, I have plenty of good news, from where should I start?
Well, the very first day I got a job at Google and a place to live in Monza, close to Milan. Yes, Google.
Pretty amazing isn’t it?
I’m an Advertising Consultant and I totally love my new job. It’s a really dynamic workplace, nice colleagues and cool bosses.
What else? I visited Barcelona, Innsbruck and Siena recently, just for the weekend, but I’m planning to have more weekend trip around Europe! Hope to see again London and Paris, I want to visit Vienna, Amsterdam and Berlin for sure! I’ll see what I can do!

Hope you guys having fun and wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Check me out on FB for my latest pics!

Have a good one!

Goodbye Canada! or Quebec? Whatever! :)

Was the 2nd of June when I put foot for the first time in Canada.
This experience wasn’t in my original plans, also I’m not the one that does a lot of plans, but my objective was to fly in my dear Australia for travel, work and enjoy that awesome Continent.
But then, mostly for fun, I sent a job application to Enzyme. And then the call… the contract… the signature of the contract… and with a very short notice, I had my backpack ready and flip flop on, ready to fly to Canada.

What can I say about this 3 months in Sainte-Adele? It was a good experience, that help me to grow up even more, to understand myself, to be more patient and to know all the facetings of my character. I learn how to more lenient, comprehensive, calm and laborious. I put 100% in my work, I have given my entire availability, I wanted to prove to myself that I CAN DO EVERYTHING. But now it’s time to greet this land, these people… I believe that is not a real goodbye. I feel it in myself, that one of these days I will come back, soon or later, for travel or for work I don’t know yet.
I want to greet with a warm hug all my colleagues in Enzyme, but I’d like to give a huge and special hug to all the Canadians, or better, Quebecois, cause they have been so cordial, friendly, affectionate, kind and exquisite.

A truly advise to all the travellers of the World: you definitely have to visit Quebec soon or later, you will not regret it for sure! Warm hospitality and breathtaking landscapes awaits you. Thanks, because you have led to a superior level my conception of hospitality and kindness of heart.

And now ITALY!

With his flaws, with his rubbish, but it still ITALY.
I really looking forward to hug again my friends, but most of all of to embrace again a special person, that although the 3 months of absence from home, she was always there, to support me, comfort me, and amuse me. I love you!

See you guys, have a good one!

Sainte-Adele Big City Life!

I remember that I used the same title for a post on my blog when I was in London. Fuck, I had such a good time in UK. First London, then Leeds and York… wwoooaah! But I’m in Canada now, in Quebec, 70 kms from Montreal, in a small town called Sainte-Adele. The life here is quiet and relax. Take your time for everything, no car, no mobile for me. It’s nice.

But…

Yes… there is a BUT.

No I’m kidding, there is no BUT, seriously I love this place, there’s a lot of stuff to do: visiting parks, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, and much much more. Ok, maybe in winter is going to be different: -40 degrees, frozen lakes, dead trees, 2 meters of snow. Not nice for me :) But at the moment I’m enjoying this place, I think one day I’d like to come back, with more time and more money, for visits more places, doing more things.
I’m glad too that I can share my dreams with someone else, someone that I care, someone that I love, someone that is not here with me right now. I consider myself really lucky, because the journey that awaits us is long, difficult, and sharp.

Now I leave you with this thing that pop up in my head few minutes ago:
Mirrors tell lies. Go in front of the mirror, raise your right arm. Which arm is raised in the mirror? The left arm.

Funny eh?

Ok it’s not funny.. whatever :D

Time to go, take care guys!

Progression

It’s been a long time since my last post, so I wanted to give you guys some updates about my life here in Canada: the job is awesome, testing video games is not so easy as it seems! It’s a real pain in the rear! The company is great and the people are friendly and nice.
I live in a nice cottage in the Hotel Chantecler area (google it) with 3 other guys: 2 French (David and Jean) and 1 Spanish (Jon). I’m the mama of the house, I’m cooking nice meals everyday for everyone and in exchange I don’t have to wash a single plate! Good good!
I can use all the facilities of the hotel too, gym, squash, internet, swimming pool, jacuzzi with whirlpool, sauna and the beach at the lake.
With the help of Yoko, our Japanese work colleague, we already visited the surrounding of Sainte-Adele and fortunately, she give us a ride almost everyday for going to work and back.
What else?? I feel great, I feel I can do whatever I want and I’m more optimist than ever! I have to thanks too that beautiful red head girl that gives me support and listen all my rant, laugh and fight with me and… c’mon fottiti cazzo!! :)

That’s it for now, if you want to see my last pictures just found me on Facebook.

Cheers!

Canada?? Challenge accepted!

Finally I’m back on the road again, this time on the other side of the globe: after spending 1 year in Australia, 3 months in South East Asia and another 3 months around Europe, I decide to find a job in Canada and try to prove to myself that I can survive to Grizzly Bears, Albino Polar Bears and French Quebec Canadian People. Okay I’m joking, bears are an easy challenge, not sure about the French Canadian!

On the flight from Frankfurt to Montreal I met an Italian-Croatian-Canadian guy that gave me some good addresses for grocery store and Italian food in Montreal and he offered me a couch whenever I’m around. And after him a lovely lady who offered me a lot of Swiss chocolates!! Omg they were soooo good!

Ah! I want to say something for the girls out there: sorry ladies, I have a beautiful girlfriend right now :)
And for the guys out there too: sorry boys, no pics of my beautiful girlfriend :)

Talk you soon mates!

Cheers

Like a rolling stone

Yes I am.
It’s been a while guys, almost 20 days since my last update and I have no big news. At the moment I just had breakfast at McDonald (gross) in Leeds, today I’m gonna go back to Kate and Mickey in Pickering, 20 miles north of York. I already been there last weekend and I really enjoyed the hospitality, the country side and the food of Yorkshire.
I want to thank Anja too for the hospitality in Leeds, you are a really nice and sweet girl, I wish you best luck for everything and see you later.

Ok ok, keep in touch guys, take care everyone

London and then…

It’s time to move back to London, I’m gonna try to find a good job and save some money! I enjoyed this week in Germany, a week full of relax and nice weather too!
Ah.. I have another news.. I GOT A JOB IN CANADAAA!! YEEAAHHHHH!!! I’m gonna be a tester-translator for VIDEOGAMES! Yeah, fucking videogames man! I will get a free return flight, 1 month free rent, insurance and visa. I’m freaking happy!! Yes yes yessss!! LET’S ROCK BABY!

Ok.. *cough*.. have a good one guys

Back on the road

Finally, on Wednesday I will be back on the road! I’m gonna hit Germany first, then UK, yes back to London. I really love London, it’s so multi cultural, a melting pot. I’m definitely going to work there, until I get a call from somewhere more appealing like Canada or Australia.
I really enjoyed this time spent in Italy, I had a lot of nights out with my friends, a lot of dinner all together and a lot of laughs. But it’s time to go, but I will be back soon!

Cheers
